Will the name of your character be your PSN ID?
IF SO: If you have more then one character will they all be named your PSN ID?
Just wondering if anyone knows this.

ARR uses first and last names, so no. I'll likely use my PSN as my last name though.

No it won't. PSN will just be the means to which you log into the FFXIV hub. You will login with your SE account information, and then once you are in the game, you will create and name your characters whatever you want.

these guys are liars! your 360 gamer tag is your character name. its already been confirmed by SE... twice. PS3 versions delay is because the PS3 doesnt have gamer tags, and so you cant name your characters on the PS3 version. soon as that is updated, FF14 will be released on PS3 and your gamer tag will be your FF14 character name. get with the info noobs.

you just say its "trolling" because you dont like anything 360. ugh... people need to grow up and see that we all just game together, in harmony!
2D bets you hate that SE opted to include achievements in this game instead of trophies too, huh? again, this has been confirmed by SE... twice. the PS3 previously didnt have enough RAM to support achievements. but with the release of patch 3.3, that problem was addressed. achievements coming to PS3. get with the info nub

I hope that is not the case, I played on the PC for a bit on this game and I would like to keep my tarutaru wantabe's name the same.

You will pick your name. You can actually use the same character that you had before if you didn't delete it and still have your login info.
PS3 and PC will not be separate.
