Decided to start this topic a little early, in preparation for the beta tests, and eventually the final release. Thought it would be a good idea to make a list of everyone on here planning to play it on PS3.
Just post your PSN ID and I will keep the list updated on here for you all.
Hopefully those beta invites start coming in soon!!!

Have FFXIII priority, I guess.
Have no idea what server I will choose, probably more of the more populated ones...

I mean i won't be playing it on PS3 from the start since i have a PC capable of running it on High Quality, but knowing me i may end up buying a PS3 copy as well and link and sync it with the PC account so i can drift between relax mode of the PS3 and Focus mode of the PC

I'm hoping to get 'ps3 mode' down to a science.
I don't have a PC capable of running FFXIV, so this is my only option.
I'm hoping that in the future they will incorporate full keyboard support, but I doubt that will happen. I'm going to organize the **** out of my macros though, so hopefully there won't be any real difference.
The only thing that I am worried about is the targeting system (while healing specifically)...
If healing, I need to be able to target certain members without spamming a target key.
I plan on suggesting this in the beta, but I already know that they have already encountered problems with incorporating a full keyboard.
Maybe I'll just buy a new PC soon... I need a new laptop anyway, especially if I get into a graduate school anytime soon after I graduate.
I really just want to enjoy the game in all aspects on the PS3 without wishing I was on a PC. If that happens, I will be a subscriber for life.

I will also like above poster be playing on PS3 as my PC can't run this game. I'm gonna be a healer called Holychit which is my ID in most games I've played

You can use a keyboard on the PS3, not sure what you mean by full support?

I know that you can use the keyboard for chat, but I remember reading an article that there isn't full keyboard support. I'll have my USB keyboard handy for chatting, but I won't be able to target people, or carry out commands simply with the stroke of keys.
I really hope that I'm wrong. I know that the PS3 version will have it's own interface, bound to the PS3 controller. Being able to choose to play on a controller or a keyboard where I can bind keys at will would be wonderful.

hmm, I don't know. But you will be able to macro everything. So by the push of a button you can do whatever you want. Targeting someone for example, can simply be added to any command in a macro. Like you can target someone and heal them all in one button.
I guess we'll see in beta how it all works out.

Not sure what server as I heard they're being renamed for 2.0.
My only issues is in the paying method as I prefer paying via PSN Store (buying monthly or yearly subscriptions) over paying with credit cards or the like. Depending on what SE does, I'll either be able to play once I get it or I'll have to wait a few days to a week before I can begin.

in FFXI on ps2 you could do everything with the keyboard that PC players could do with their keyboard (including targeting stuff) so I doubt FFXIV will be any different
