Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is very good. The graphics aren't all the bad for a GBA game. The characters are detailed enough, and this is coming from a person that has played some of the newest games out there like MW2. The sound was pretty much the only thing that sucked, but well, it is for the gameboy. They reuse lots of sounds in the different songs and the combat sound fx aren't exactly the best. Gameplay is simple once you get the hang of it, though the tutorial only explains the basics so you have to figure out the rest. The campaign levels are also very good, though some of them can be very frustrating if you don't want to suffer from high casualties. Multiplayer on the other hand, is the worst I have ever encountered, but once again, what can you expect from a GBA game? So overall, I gave this game a 9 out of 10, the only problem being the sound effects.

Fans of RPGs or turn based strategy games will be equally enthralled. Fans of both will be amazed.

While with few gameplay improvements over it predecessors, The Sacred Stones is still very much worth while
