I am a Fire Emblem expert, so I can say with confidence that this game is worth the time.

As a fan of the series, I call this just another incredible game. Great storyline, good graphics, and the fights are fun. Even today, I play this game, and I truly believe that this is the best game for the GBA.

You can begin the game by choosing three characters. Lyn, whose story goes from chapter one to chapter ten. Eliwood, whose story goes from chapter 11 to the end of the game. Hector's story begins the same way as Eliwood. It's important that you ALWAYS start with Lyn. Otherwise, there's no way you'd truly understand what comes after.

A nice feature to the storyline is the fact that though Eliwood and Hector may have their stories starting from the same chapter, the storyline for each of them is a little different. You could change their storylines even more if you make sure they have a support with the right girl. However, this only works when you choose the right main character. For example, setting up Eliwood with Ninian won't exactly work with the ending in the same way if you do it in Hector's story.

One of my favorite features in the storyline is how they are starring you as a tactician alongside with the trio of main characters. Though other fans do not believe this, but the game does know gender difference for the tactician. Also, they are some neat surprise moments in this game's storyline.

The graphics are great, and I love the quality of the fighting sequences. The photos are awesome too, but a few of them are pointless.

On to the gameplay, I like the different fighting styles for each unit. The critical hits are always neat to watch. When you move your units, you should always be careful about where you place them. Never let your guard down, unless you're 100% sure that there's no danger. This is especially true for levels where there is fog or darkness, because you don't know where they could be hiding. That is another reason why this game is good. You can't play a level the same way you did previously. No matter how many times you play a Fire Emblem game, you can't play the same way twice. The way you customize your units change each time. If you do Lyn's story first then it would be more beneficial to some of the units, so be sure to do this everytime you play.

There are a lot of support conversations in this game, making it one reason why you should play this game more than once. Once you've had a support conversation, you can view it in the extras menu. I've watched those over and over again. Some of them can be pretty enjoyable.

From the storyline to the gameplay, this game will prove to be a lot of fun. The difficulty is just right, and the game gives you a variety of ways to exercise your strategic skills, like Fire Emblem always does. I would recommend this to anybody, and everybody. Fire Emblem is great and a lot of fun!
