too bad they're pushed to be released in the second quarter, earliest we'll see them is about april, and that's optimistically speaking. Nvidia is given such a huge lead in the dx10 market, and it's hard for DAAMIT (ATI+AMD) to pick up as i'm sure Nvidia is just waiting so they can release their counters to the r6xx series. But i still hold high hopes for DAAMIT nonetheless, it would be near insane to release an inferior product to the 8800's, and I expect their cards to blow it sky high, but its not to say Nvidia will just be sitting there doing nothing, oh god i love competition.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

$4-5 million is not a large lead at all, especially taking into account how much it cost to make the 10k G80s.
Expect the R600 to easily compete with whatever Nvidia throws at it, wheter it be a G81 or G90.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

true, we'll just have to wait and see if the r600 will live up to our expectations.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

the R600 HAS to beat the 8800GTX and at least be at or close to the level of the G81, otherwise daamit is done. Of course, seeing as how the g81 will begin to use GDDR4 memory, I still doubt it will reach the insane speeds of the r600XTX. 2.2GHz anyone? Faster than some processors...- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

no doubt, i just hope it will blow it out of the water though, not just a marginal improvement, but by taking it by the leaked tech specs it should.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
