    Hey guys,

    As part of our New Year's resolutions, we're going to take Start/Select weekly from tomorrow. That means the best UK games, interviews and features are going to be coming to you once a week from now on.

    In order to make the show even better, we want to know what you guys want to see. Is there a feature you want to see, an interview you want to hear, or a new game that you want us to cover? If so, post in the forum and the best contributors will recieve some of the random schwag currently cluttering our desks.

    UPDATE: We're also looking to feature your funny gaming videos on Start/Select. If you've spotted a glitch, a goof or an insane stunt and caught it on camera, then upload it to the site and send us a link to look at. Email startselect@gamespot.co.uk for a chance to be featured in an upcoming episode and win some great prizes.

    I would like to know if there's going to be a Hogs of War 2, I've heard rumors that there was going to be a sequel for PS2,Wii and DS.

    I've waited 8 years for a sequel to HOGS OF WAR 2 I still play it on my PS1 and it's still a great game.

    You know, I can never get enough of Rock Band information, especially on that PS3 version of Rock Band 2 though I don't think that will be too popular a choice from most people...just thought I'd say

    I'd actually like to see a more panel related opinion show from start/select. I'm a big fan of the Bonus Round from Gametrailers and I wouldn't mind seeing something similar from Gamespot.

    You know, I can never get enough of Rock Band information, especially on that PS3 version of Rock Band 2 ;) though I don't think that will be too popular a choice from most people...just thought I'd say :P I'd actually like to see a more panel related opinion show from start/select.     I'd like to see tonnes and tonnes of indie games to be featured. You can find information about large huge budget games anywhere, and interviews with devs of them are only going to give you information that has already been said elsewhere. Indie games is a different kettle of fish, information can be hard to come by, and often most people don't even know they exist until they're nearly released. It'd be great to hear about these games in more detail.

    Maybe have some sort of behind the scenes video of certain games companies to see the overall process of how games are made?

    Also maybe a behind the scenes look at the uk gamespot offices and videos of the gamespot crew like the videos that Mr Aaron Thomas used to do would be pretty good.

    I would like to know why project zero 4 is only on the wii??? More about Mass effect 2 and i think the whole world should do an online petition to push the making and release of the last of the Shenmues!!!!

    You could do a "On this day", were you show games that were released or other major gaming events from the past.
    Retro then and now, shows the evolution of a particular concept in gaming, for example tennis going from pong and working your way to present day.
    "Show us what your made of", kind of like what macacd is saying but you set a score in a game and whoever beats the score with the highest difference from yours wins a prize.
    "Guess the object" you show a zoomed up version of something probably gaming hardware maybe, and people email in guessing what it is, winner gets a prize.

    Most of mine are features/competitions oh well

    Maybe get the guys at Free Radical to come in and explain whats going on? Or, more likely, maybe do a deal of the week? Like people send in their found bargains. I got one already, Power Stone Collection on the PSP 3.60 at Zavvi.

    I'd love to get some more info on a potential Crackdown 2 after the recent rumour that another Dundee/Scottish company was maybe starting work on it.

    What we're playing
    Other than games that you have had to review, what games have you been playing over the last week/month? What games are you most looking forward to for 2009? What do you think will be the surprise hits of the year?

    Maybe have a little office league - guess the scores that 10 big name games will get this year. The one with the most correct answers wins something.

    How awesome do you think Vampire Rain 2 will be? I feel sorry already for the person that gets to review that!!

    With the wide range of UK developers, it would be nice to get some features from most of them. You have Codemasters, with Colin McRae Dirt 2, a new F1 game, Jumpgate Evolution and Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising, Criterion Games with the Burnout series and Black, Rockstar North with GTA, Travellers Tales with the Lego games, Rare, SCEE with Wipeout, Motorstorm, EyeToy, Home, Singstar etc...

    My suggessions for features:

    • With so many driving games, it would be good to have a comparison between them, like Grid V Dirt V Burnout V Wipeout V Motorstorm.
    • How about a video of Guy playing his favourite upcming game, Flower, when it's released and seeing his reaction.
    • Best ever UK Game
