I like everyone heream a big fan of sony and their products

And when i saw there E3 conference with the part about the 3D tv i thought . . . WOW

I thought it was a must buy and that it was a great idea by Sony. And then i looked closer . . . its a 3D tv that is 24" for £350 ($500) that is twice the price ofa monitor of the same type.

I was hoping for a £400 26" or a £450 32" as that would be great and a nice size and it would be £200 of the price of the cheapest 3D TV

But what they are offering is a small monitor that is twice the price of others out there

    WHY SONY?

I was so excited for this and then i saw it as it is and could not have been more dissapointed

What really let me down is the fact they called it affordable which led me to belive it would be 32" and £450 roughly

Does anyone know if there is a larger model coming out

Don't forget to factor in the glasses, game, and HDMI cable. I think they said that was a $150 value in itself.

More like $100 so then the TV is only $400. Which is still pretty expensive for a 24", but for people who don't want to spend $1200 buying a 3D HDTV it's a nice entry point I guess.

You could get a Mitsubishi 3D ready TV and the 3D kit if you want cheap 3D. Their DLPs are huge, and you get a 60" TV for under $1000.

Twice the price of a monitor of the same type? Are there actually 24" 3D monitors/TVs for $250? If so, where?

But you forget that it comes with 2 glasss and a game (Resistance 3) AND you can see 2 pictures at the same time, 1 for each of the 2 players. (For split-screen and so on)

Indeed I for one am definitely not willing to give up my 37inch HDTV for a 24inch 3DTV. 32inch at least would of been nice.

I don't get the point of a 24" or even a 32" TV. They are way too small.

That tv announcement won e3 for me alone. Now I can finally have a 3d tv! 24 inch is just perfect to fit in my tractor trailer. I have been dying for a 21-24 HDTV for a long time. I would pay $100 more even.

We have a 55' 3D LG tv and I haven't even got to try out games on it yet haha I need to pay motor storm.

But in all honestly it isn't that much of a rip off the deal came with resistance 3 ($60), hdmi ($20), and a pair for glasses ($79.99 or in MY case $130 lol)

two people can play with the 3D at the same time without having to split the screen , i think that alone worth the price . and it comes with a game an HDMI cable and 2 glasses if that doesn't worth the price then i don't know what

I thought it was a nice touch by Sony. They are clearly quite passionate about getting 3D out there into people's homes.

Wow I'm surprised at the reaction to this product. I'm thrilled about this where I will admit it would be nice if it was bigger I'm not sad to see split screen go. I'll be buying this for sure .

Nobody is saying that. :-\ People are allowed to complain.

I'd buy this in an instant if it wasn't for the size of it.
