Lupul with a hat trick, but the play of the night definitely goes to Brodeur for robbing Kessel of a goal.

Like I said in the previous season's thread after playoffs were over, I haven't been this excited for a Leafs team since 2002. The biggest thing right now is that they play solid in November so the haters will slightly step the hell back.

There may be a goaltender controversy brewing in Buffalo now. Miller or Enroth?

It's fine to lose a game, but come the **** on, this is ridiculous.

The entire team just reeked tonight, you can't pin that game on ANYONE.

And then Boston goes in and hammers Toronto, 7-0. WTF? Philly crushes the poor Jackets, 9-2.

Maybe Boston can finally get their **** together and play like the team people thought they would.

I wonder if Columbus blows that up...fire Howson, fire Arniel...even though they had injuries, how they're playing is embarrassing.

Or maybe they got duped into trading for Carter

Maybe, but he's been hurt almost all year, so that isn't very fair. I wonder that, even after signing that big contract, Nash wants out...doubt it, but it'd be interesting how things go down there.

Florida Panthers off to their best start in 15 years. Yes, that is not a typo
