No, that wasn't it (though that 3/10 from IGN was pretty surprising; not often you see high-profile games get slammed like that). Eh. Probably wasn't too important, anyway.

I saw it on sale at Walmart today and remembered the awful score IGN gave it. Not to mention poor user reviews. I guess it doesn't matter.

Hey! Hope you're recovering well from your surgery. I don't know the details of yours, but I can relate a little bit back when I had mine on my chest in Dec 2010. I was only in the hospital for seven days, but its draining stuff, had no appetite, was in pain alot of the time, and the pain pills sometimes made me nauseous. Hope you're recovering well now that you're out of the hospital I presume? Are you able to do everyday activities yet?

A lot of players hate the game and for good reason. Like_Haterade was telling me, just now, about how atrocious the game turned out to be for him. The game, from what I understand, does not capture the spirit of the first two games.

There is certainly a lot of rage going on over at IGN over the score. I think it's fine, it is good to see a reviewer actually use the full scale, the problem is not everyone does, so it looks distorted. The game is probably in all reality a bit better than a 3.0, could be more in the 5-6 range, but since it is not just a generic hack n slash the reviewer is judging it based on the previous Ninja Gaiden games, and it clearly fails to live up to them in anyway, and potential buyers and fans would want to know that.

That's the impression I was getting. I wonder what the score would have been if this were a new game.

I think I remember you telling us about that or perhaps I'm thinking of someone else. I've been out of the hospital for months now but stayed at my aunt's house so almost never got on the computer there. I'll post a blog about all the gritty details so check that out if you want to know more sometime later this week.

Modnation Racers not as marketable as LBP, so do a quick title swap and PROFIT!!

I was wondering why talk of Modnation wasn't as a commonplace.

And that's the end of magic.

You might want to wait on finishing that game. They may be changing the ending here pretty soon if the internets keeps yelling loud enough

I was off from work today. I go out to get some stuff and some ice cream, and two times throughout the day I overhear conversations about Mass Effect 3's apparently terrible ending. It must really be that bad, huh?

As I was drinking from a bottle of Diet Coke this afternoon I noticed the consumer information hotline on the label, for those of us with really pressing Coke queries. What sort of calls do they get, I wonder?

"OK, I've got the bottle. Now what?"

"I've always known that regular Coke is disgusting, but my friend says that Diet is more disgusting by far. Has any formal research been carried out in this area?"

"Hi, I know this sounds weird but on a drunken bet I broke into my local supermarket last night and urinated in every twentieth bottle of Coke, regular and Diet. I know that it was stupid and childish and I'd really like to make things right. Is there a recall procedure you can follow?"

"Hello! I just wanted to say that as I was shopping at my local supermarket today I picked up my usual bottle of Diet and found that it now had a rather sharp, tangy aftertaste. Is this some new kind of flavouring? In any case it was delicious so I just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work!"
