System Wars is a one of a kind destination where gamers can discuss, rant, and debate about systems, platforms, handhelds and the games. Not many people survive System Wars. The mightiest system warriors back up their arguments with facts.

Rules are simple:
- Read the Terms of Use and System Wars Survival Guide.
- Must be Level 10 or higher to create topics.
- Keep your discussions around what belongs here: platforms, games, developers, publishers, and stats.
- Don't quote more than one image in your post.
- Do NOT post or bump extremely abusive discussions (adult material/illegal activities/illegal advertising/etc).

Today was a good day for gaming. Started off by getting Xenoblade Chronicles with the art book, then went over to a friend's house to play Dungeon Defenders on a PC LAN and he gave me a few Dreamcast games and a PS2 demo that he had as duplicates in his collection. He has a mint/complete copy of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for Dreamcast as well that he's going to let me borrow, but I left it as his place for now because he has it hooked up to the big screen and it's a fun game to leave running in the background to pick up and play. The best part about Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is that you can be Jill Valentine. Jill isn't in my copy of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for whatever reason...... It ruins the game for me.

    Have you seen The Sopranos?

Also recently started, and I find it very good as well. As good as The Wire.

Far and away the best TV show I have seen, The Sopranos.

What is The Wire about? Is it the inner city drama, or was that another?

It's a crime drama on Baltimore drug dealing scene. It focuses on both the law enforcement and the dealers themselves.

The dialogues are very, very, very, very well written. Extremely authentic (though sometimes little too hard to follow with all the abbreviations).

Yeah it is. That's the thing I like the most after the inherant nerdiness of the show.

The most I've spent on a figure is ~$100.

My priciest one right now is $175 or so, I'm pretty much against $400+ figures so far. Generally because most of those are just $150-200 figures with absurd after market prices. Anything else are like Fewture (around $400-500+ releases) to Studio Halfeye (around $500+) and I don't have any interest in those.

Well not really. I'd love to pick up a couple figures that run past the $300 mark a pop. I just can't afford them right now.

I haven't seen a lot of female figures pass $300, I recently saw someone spend $200 for a figma though.

There are two in particular I want that can reach those levels.

There's Yami, from To Love-ru. And Velvet from Odin Sphere.

Probably because they're out of print.
