...this topic is gonna be so bad for me if I get sucked in lol, I have hundreds of animes I've already watched and several more that I'm soon and sit and watch through the entirety of; most notably fate zero 2nd half (13 more episodes) starts tomorrow, mirai nikki hasn't finished yet, still around a month before the last ep, and then there's the persona 4 anime for which 25/26 eps have released (not all of which I've seen yet) and the last one isn't coming out for bloody ages...oh right, then there's that 2nd avatar thing and several old animes I still haven't gotten around to, as well as recent ones I've already finished like black rock shooter, another, and un-go.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting..
Time takes it all whether you want it to or not, time takes it all.
Time bares it away, and in the end there is only darkness.
Sometimes we find others in that darkness, and sometimes we lose them there again.
None can hope to convey the life-sensation of any given epoch of one's existence -
that which makes its truth, its meaning - its subtle and penetrating essence.
It is impossible. We live, as we dream - alone.
The real meaning of enlightenment is to gaze with undimmed eyes on all darkness..

Haven't watched much recent anime, though I'm interested in checking out Another and Mirai Nikki when they're done. Recently finished watching Darker than Black. Currently watching Monster as of yesterday.

Fate/Stay seems to be a really popular anime here on gamespot. Favorite anime/manga guys? My favorite anime is Busou Renkin, and my favorite manga is Rosario + Vampire. I actually color some of the manga panels for it too!
    ***SPOILER***
oops forgot should change the title to anime/manga so people can discuss manga as well

I just started watching Natsuiro Kiseki, a Spring 2012 anime.

It's about four middle school friends, tension amongst them, and a hint of magic to keep it interesting.

Not sure. I'd guess 12 episodes only; don't think the show would last a 24-26 episode run.

Just started airing, so I'll be following it weekly.

My favorite series: Ranma 1/2 and Neon Genesis Evangelion
Favorite movies: anything with Ranma 1/2, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, and Ninja Scroll.

I've seen a few others like Tank Police, Giant Robo, Appleseed, Macross, and....hmm not sure lol. I am a dinosaur when it comes to anime lol

Another is done (was good too), Mirai Nikki finishes later this month, only like 2 eps left to come out

Yeah Natsu-iro Kiseki only has 12 episodes planned for it.

*Makes a few random suggestions for older animes*: Serial Experiments Lain, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai; avoid Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira, they rape the series so badly D: Some say the manga is better than the anime as a whole too), Kyogoku Natsuhiko Kosetsu Hyaku Monogatari (aka Requiem from the Darkness, also the Jigoku Shoujo series (3 seasons) is pretty similar style, albeit much longer and has a rather slow start), and...Elfen Lied (Elf's Song or Elven Song)

Just a small selection of my favourites, Elfen Lied was what really got me into anime in the 1st place, and Serial Experiments Lain was the 1st one that I watched again immediately after finishing, primarily because it took a while to figure out exactly what was happening :L

I kinda was. I still have 96+ gigs worth of anime I still need to get through. The whole Higurashi no Naku Koro series is deep down on that list.

It's a pretty useful tool to keep track of your anime.
