Phat DS 4lyf.

I recently started playing, your rival ended up nicer than I thought he was going to be. I thought he was going to be similar to your one in Gold/Silver, but nope.

The new Unova pokedex entries have been translated, and some of them are... dreadful.

    ***SPOILER***

The new Unova pokedex entries have been translated, and some of them are... dreadful. :?
Scolipede: It grips prey with the claws on its neck, and after restricting its movement, injects it with deadly poison to finish the job.

Yamask: The soul of a person who was buried in a tomb transformed into a Pokemon. It retains its memories from before it died.

Cof@grigus: It takes grave robbers who draw near, mistaking it for a real coffin, and locks them inside its body.

Gothorita: There are many accounts of it controlling and playing with sleeping children on nights when the starlight shines.

Gothitelle: It reads the future from the movement of the stars. A Gothitelle that found out its Trainer's lifespan will scream and mourn.

Frillish: It wraps prey in its bell-like arms, paralyzes it, and kills it by carrying it to the ocean floor, 8000 meters below.

Klang: It split into a mini gear and huge gear. If the mini gear is hurled as an attack but doesn't return, it dies.

Lampent: It sucks up souls to stoke its flame. It hangs around in hospitals waiting for people to die.

Heatmor: It converts the air taken in through its tail into flames, then uses them like a tongue to melt Durant and eat them.
Ok, i'm confused about this new Challenge mode...

So apparently, you receive the Challenge key after beating B2 and the Assist key after beating W2. You can link with another game to receive different keys for your game.

I also noticed that Serebii added some info for the gym leaders in Challenge mode. So i'm guessing if I got Black 2 and defeat the E4, i'll get the Challenge key unlocked. But is the key tied to a save or the actual cartirdge. Can I reset and play the whole game through on Challenge mode with a new save? Or do I need a separate game card, start a new game and link the key over?

    Either way:

    1. I'm totally getting Black 2.

    2. This is such a stupid idea. Just let us select a difficulty setting from the beginning...

From the looks of it, it's tied to the save. But a save that has it can send it to another game regardless of the latter's progress. So presumably you'd need a second game with Challenge Mode already unlocked to send you the key in the beginning if you wanted to play it through the whole game.

    What the heck!!

I wonder if you can send keys to people via WiFi or if it's just a local wireless thing (probably is... ).

    Local Wireless (IR). -____-

I'm currently reading about it. I can not comprehend the logic behind this.

This is only beneficial for those who buy both games or have friends with the opposite version... >:O

I'm wondering if White 2 can send Challenge Mode Keys after unlocking it. If so, I can just restart after I link with my friend.

Has anyone seen the Hidden Hollows list on Serebii? Many Pokemon with Hidden Abilities in the game, including Imposter Ditto!

And from the looks of the items list, berry-growing might be back (please oh please).

This is a pathetic idea to get people to want both versions. I can understand exclusive areas and Pokemon and the whole trade/connect with your friends philosophy but difficulty settings?! You've got to be kidding me!

At least I can enjoy Challenge mode for the post-game in Black 2 without connecting.

Speaking of challenge, i'm loving the whole medals feature they added. I don't usually give a damn about trophies for my PS3 games but it might be fun trying to get all these medals. However, i'm noticing a lot of medals that involve things like Fes Missions, Join Avenue, etc. Don't we need to connect with other games for those features?
