I still have to play the first Sniper Elite (I own it, but my first copy came bogged down with Starforce, and it fried my DVD-ROM, and my second copy (a Steam version) was purchased shortly before moving out of my parents place, making it unplayable (as I only own a netbook)). The demo was great though. Really captured what I felt sniping to actually be about (the patience needed to line up the prefect shot). I too can't wait to see how Shake reacts.- Please wait. I enjoyed the demo, the thing that appeals to me about this game is that it is much more slower paced and you can plan your attack. to me, this appeals much more interesting than charging in and quick scoping 5 guys, run a bit, quickscope rinse and repeat.

That review sounded pretty positive. Sounds like more thana 6.0 honestly. Then again, the same guy gave SS3 only a 6.0 even though it was easily the best FPS of last year. Also gave Modern Rehash 3 a 8.5...so yeah, I'm gonna assume this game is way more fun than he gives it credit for.

Still looking forward to it. I loved the demo as getting headshots never got old. I just hope it doesn't force too many CoD confrontations. Gamespot has changed their numerical scores one lower and have become more strict in what they hand out. A while ago they'd have given this a 7. We haven't seen a 10 forever. The review was not overly negative and didn't strike me as a 6.
