Okay, I've updated the guide to take into account of the new levelling system. As you can see, it's no longer a GameFAQs type of guide (as someone once described it to me) where I went into detail of the ins and outs - all of that is gone. I'm simply listing the info for easy access and reference now.

A big chunk of it concerned about how posting is not the fastest way to level up, to try and discourage new users from spamming - but uh, that's no longer true now. It is, no matter what way you look at it. Plus, it's not for us to tell users what they can and cannot do - that's for the mods to do and for users to take responsibility for their own actions.

It's going to be difficult at best to discover what the max percentage per day is for each level, as I doubt we could find many who'd do everything listed on a daily basis.

For example, I cannot churn out a "junk blog" every day just for XPs, I prefer to be motivated to write about something.

Also I don't agree with those who might "rate" games they never owned just to take advantage of the new level system.

That's fine - we'll just keep what we have until further notice. And yeah, gotta love how you get something for rating a game and not reviewing.

Agreed. I believe you can drop from a Top 100 to a Top 500 emblem if you don't write enough reviews, not sure if one could lose the Top 500 altogether if they stopped writing for a time.

I was a little disappointed about not receiving level credit for a review I submitted recently.

It only takes effect after 24 hours. Then, the XP is converted into the % for your level.

The metal slime (lvl20) did used to take a very long time, but it wasn't a whole year, only like 1 third to half of one. Beyond that the slow levels were in the 50s/60s iirc, and those ones still are slow I think.
    Hmm.. are you sure?
I remember the cap for that level being like 2.25% (or something like that) per day. I remember it used to take around 45 - 50 days to pass.
What sucked back then was to get a pointloss on that level lol. You don't lose levels like you do now, but it made it really tough to reach the max cap for a set period of time.

Please vist the Otaku Table and NSOTU
