    my very fisrt fps on pc was the first ever fps which was wolfenstein 3d which I bought the day it was released it was and still is a fun game to play

    and I believe my first fps on console was the first medal of honer game or rainbow six or some other fps on the ps1 can't really remember

    The first 3d game I remember was probably Starglider on the CBM Amiga, a wonderful flight game but you were in first person and you did do a lot of shooting.

    For more traditional FPS it was - like so many - people Doom which I liked but Quake and particularly Quake 2 were *far* better and Unreal Torny was excellent for multiplayer.


    On Consoles it was probably Halo since I never was in to consoles, the games were (and still are) far too expensive.

    dungeon master and then xenomorph. and no one remembers terminator 2029?

    but when blake stone and wolfenstien came out those were all the rage.

    (im sure more of you old schoolers have played stuff older then wolfenstien but just dont remember).

    those old games used to save on the cartridge themselves using a battery. Id imagine your battery is probably long dead by now.
