Heya fellows, I'm asking for what you think are the longest, as in duration, action/adventure games. Preferably on the Ps2(I just rekindled my love with the machine).
The type of game I'm looking for is Onimusha, Bujingai, Genji, etc. AS in, dudes with swords.

I think the longest one I played was Shin Onimusha, though the latter half of the game felt a bit padded, I'd rather have some filler than 7 hours of gameplay(Onimusha 1 xD).

Red Dead Redemption tooke me 21 hours to complete, and that's WITHOUT ALL of the side quests. It actually boarders the line between Action/Adventure & RPG.

Definitely this, easily took me over 40 hours to finish it and it was the best 40 hours I've ever spent on my Playstation 2. You're a dog god in the game but you can still wield some badass looking swords if that counts.

On PS2, D&D Heroes took me forever. I never beat it either got to I think the 2nd to last land. Took me I'd say 32+ to get to where I stopped. I don't know if it's on PS2 I think it is. I had it on xbox. It's kind of like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, same camera and gameplay really fun in coop.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadows is a pretty long game. About 15-20 hours long. It doesn't have the exploration of the previous Castlevanias, but I'd still recommend it.

Yes, Lords of Shadow is a decent length and a fantastic action/RPG. Highly recommend that one.

It's gotta be Turok 2 for the N64. It's an FPS adventure that will take about 40-60 hours. Still one of my favorite games of all time.

    Action-RPG's don't count. They're always long (looting & grinding).
