FORMULA ONE PASSION UNION

Yep, I can't seem to access any of my unions either. Considering I need to post a fair bit of details in the one I lead over the next few days, kinda annoying that I haven't been able to get on for a good 3/4 hours now.
it is annoying and yet the techs don't care it seems. it is sad that site has gotten this bad this quick. i blame CBS Interactive for all the crap since they took over. damn you Dan Rather. damn you CBS. damn you NCIS.
Just seems to be a case of (seemingly from our viewpoint) not caring about unions for donkey's years. There was what, something like nearly 2,000 votes or so to bring in Unions V2 (I don't remember off the top of my head so I may be wrong) and we were told it "wasn't enough people voted for it" (despite outweighing any other option in the poll considerably). I'm not saying now that we should still bring it in, but I can't recall any changes to Unions at all, and I signed up September 2006. If there's been no changes in almost six years, how are we meant to keep or attract new members to unions if we can't be able to improve ourselves?
(Of course my whole point being the lack of updates may be a contibution to the current issues - not being that much of a techie I couldn't say it is, mind.)

Here is an example of how slow GS is running. Look at the bottom of each page in the following pics. See how slow they are loading? The pics were taken minutes apart and are in the 4 bits per second and 0 bits per second range some 6 and a half minutes later. You can tell how slow it is loading by the number of elements that have loaded, it hasn't changed. That is really sad really.
i totally agree. this site has never given the Unions any updates at all yet more and more members join Unions and yet they don't want to make any changes so they can focus on other things and forget about the people who post here on a daily basis. - Good grief. This is getting ridiculous. Can't even get into unions now.

I'm getting 503 and 504 errors like crazy now.

504 Gateway error is rampaging again every time I post.
They fixed that yesterday afternoon, and I haven't experienced it since.
So about that fix. Here we are nearly 2 weeks later, and it's still happening. Are you still not experiencing them? Because it seems pretty apparant that the rest of us are.

Getting a lot of 504 errors this morning.
Edit: Looks like one of my post actually did came through. God was it so annoying a few moments ago.
I still get them but not as much as I used to which was practically every time I post lol There's also a new glitch that doesn't allow you to add polls to threads This site is almost unusable at the moment - more pages are timing out or failing to load than are working.
One off issues are unavoidable, but this has been affecting a lot of people for weeks and seems to be getting worse.
- Sep 5, 2012 11:58 pm GMT

Seriously, are these errors going to get fixed anytime soon? I'm getting 504 messages everytime I make a post.

The "Oops" pages are back again - Sep 8, 2012 11:34 am GMT
The "Oops" pages are back again
yeah, i get them about 1 in every 5 pages I load on this site. Sometimes all I get is a blank white screen. Refreshing a few times helps...sometimes. I've only been a member a month or so, and this site has been like this ever since then (sorry, it's all my fault). I would have abandoned Gamespot ages ago but the content is actually really good (the main reviews, the user reviews and now I've just listened to a mildly-diverting podcast). But it's no good having decent content if technical issues prevent us from accessing it. I would also vote for a one-week CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE timeout. That should be enough time for the specialists to clean it up. Gamespot has enough history, members, traffic and presence to survive that. The only question is if the advertisers would agree to such a time-out.

I think the Oops pages are gone tbh Lol look what happened when I went to the home page:
- Sep 9, 2012 6:27 am GMT

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting..
Time takes it all whether you want it to or not, time takes it all.
Time bares it away, and in the end there is only darkness.
Sometimes we find others in that darkness, and sometimes we lose them there again.
None can hope to convey the life-sensation of any given epoch of one's existence -
that which makes its truth, its meaning - its subtle and penetrating essence.
It is impossible. We live, as we dream - alone.
The real meaning of enlightenment is to gaze with undimmed eyes on all darkness..
I think the Oops pages are gone tbh Lol look what happened when I went to the home page:
How odd..it looks like caching failed for some reason on the back-end for the php system, which has hopefully been fixed already as I can't seem to replicate it. Seems as though the CSS hasn't loaded either, but that's normally fixed by a refresh here. - Sep 9, 2012 7:33 am GMT
They don't care, clearly. This isn't a new thing, nor is it a minor issue, it's directly impacting everyday usage and functionality of the site.
