    I'm wondering if I should trade my current 3DS in for a 3DS XL. Is it worth it? If so what color?

    I almost traded my old 3DS in when I got my 3DS XL, but decided to keep it around. I got the red one and it looks great in person. Unlike the bright red pic on the box, it has a duller, almost metalic-look to it.

    [/QUOTE]I almost traded my old 3DS in when I got my 3DS XL, but decided to keep it around. I got the red one and it looks great in person. Unlike the bright red pic on the box, it has a duller, almost metalic-look to it.

    I traded my black one in for the red one. The size difference is enormous, when I was transferring data side by side. At first I regretted not getting the blue one, but I'm over it now, and actually, the red one has grown on me.

    It was good for me because i have bad eye sight. The larger screen made a big difference to me.

    A couple of things to note as someone who has both. The XL is bulkier and more uncomfortable to play Kid Icarus on. You WILL notice the larger pixels but the larger screen size might grow on you to the point where it doesn't matter. The extended battery life is a plus, but when you play a graphically demanding game with full settings, it doesn't matter much. I couldn't part with my original, and I'm glad I don't, because I use it as a back up when the XL runs dry (can't stand playing things plugged in).

    Do not invite me to your union. Doing so will get you ignored.

    bought the XL, sold my 3DS on Ebay.....havent regretted a thing! I only wish the new Circle Pad Pro was out because I just dont like MGS3D w/o the second stick for the camera. I want it for camera control in Kingdom Hearts as well. Every other game im enjoying much more with the bigger screens.
