    i see this game get a lot of hate mainly about Dante's hair what do you guys think about it so far

    Horrible to look at if you compare is to the other last 3 DMC. Maybe they didn't have enough people to work with now that time are expensive.
    Maybe there's a cleaner version for us that is being held captive. The story is like Dante when he was a younger person. Creepy to see the big difference between this new game.

    This dmc has a dark atmosphere but gameplay is good ,and vergil is there i will buy it

    In the old games the protagonist was arrogant but charismatic. In DMC, at least in the trailers, the character Dante is just unsympathetic. This can be a decoy to attract new players teenagers, but I, who am not a fan of the franchise, not liked.

    I'll only buy the GOTY version of the game (if they release it).

    Just looks less interesting than the previous ones. Which seems a concept/marketing failure but the fan reaction has been pretty vocal.

    They are making Bayonetta 2 and God of War: Sagas just came out... a DMC game in the vein of DMC 3 would have been a buy for me but these other games seem like better choices now.

    im actually really looking forward to this one. ive played dmc 1,3, and 4 and to be honest this one looks so good. true i was skeptical about it at first wondering why dante looks really emo and has different colored hair but the more ive looked into it the more ive been getting excited about it. true it might not be the same devil may cry we all know but i really think that there going to change it for the better. im hoping that this time they will change things like going through the same areas again and again and stop with the repetition of having to fight the same bosses multiple times. i really think that if your a dmc fan you should definitely check it out before casting any judgement on it because it may be the best one yet.

    I played the demo. It isn't bad, but it lacks the style that the original series is known and loved for. Instead, it's got this European feel to it that says "Hey! Look at me! I'm Dante! Remember?"

    Its good I'll definitely buy it since I love devil may cry. People are complaining about his looks so they don't want the game.. like f*ck me, right?

    i can't get past the looks and that just half the ?mark, boring demo not fun as DMC3 & the games screams buy me i'm DMC so, DMC3 would be my last until next next dmc

    I simply don't like it not because of Dante's new look but because of Capcom. They've been s***ing on their fanbase this whole gen.

    New Dante kicks old Dante's ass in everyway possible. If you haven't beaten the game then you don't know that he's just a younger version of old dante. He starts turning into the Dante you know and love. (Actually you don't know what Dante you love, since he acts totally different between all the old games...)

    This game was the best entry so far (besides DMC3 but eh) I like this one a WHOLE lot more. I hope NJ makes a sequel.

    New Dante isn't emo AT ALL. There is not ONE part of the game where he acts emo. So shut your damn traps and enjoy the game. The only thing emo about it is the "hardcore fans" crying all the time.
