That thing needs a price cut and maybe even a revision ASAP, i mean it has a couple of interesting games, but there is no way i will spend so much money to just play a few games, not to mention the WiiU is just around the corner almost at the same price.

Vita lasting 10 years? good luck with that and while the PS3 was on a similar situation there is no guarantee the vita will be the same.

what about it needs a revision??

If I was to revise the PS Vita I would:

    • give it a proper d-pad like the Dualshock, and PSP have
    • give it proper buttons like the Dualshock, and PSP have
    • give it bigger analog sticks

I was considering buying one when it came out, but when I tested one out the controls just felt incredibly cheap.

I actually like that the buttons are a little smaller they feel more natural to me.

I agree with this. Especially the analog sticks feels odd.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves, check 10 months from now.

And on the seventh day, God rested. Having created the heavens and the Earth, the seas and all they contain, He ceased all labors. But the seventh day being a Sunday, and with all of His fantasy teams playing, He needed a shortstop. So God created Derek Jeter, and blessed him, and said unto him, be fruitful. And Jeter was good. Jeter held dominion over opposing pitchers (.343 AVG in 2006), was plentiful in power (14 HR and 97 RBIs), and moved over the earth (34 steals) and across home plate (118 runs). And God blessed Jeter, and sanctified him, and said to Roto owners everywhere, make Jeter your No. 1 middle infielder.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves, check 10 months from now.

Good for them if their 1st party can do that cause the 3rd party sure as hell wont.

Look at it through non fanboy eyes and it is clear that the handheld is failing and a price cut wont save it

I don't think that there ever has been a handheld that was supported 10 years. If Sony couldn't even support the PSP what makes them think they can support the Vita?

It does need help with sales but otherwise I'm enjoying the vita just fine.

The Vita will improve over time. Seems obvious, but the PSP didn't really take off at first either. When the library is strong and the hardware gets cheaper it will start selling.

PSP was a niche system through and through. Unless you had an interest in JRPGs (which was what kept the system afloat) there really wasn't much to offer on the system. The Vita doesn't really seem to have that going for it either since the regular PSP is still outright outselling it.

Well what really sold the PSP (outside of Japan) was piracy.

The original PSP had a pretty horrible software attach rate in comparison to every other system.

I'm tired of people talking vita sales, sure it looks bad compared to the 3ds but its selling at a very, very slow consistent rate. Which means something right?

Yeah, 10 year HOMEBREW life cycle--and maybe even longer than that. C'mon, the second Sony pulls the plug on this failure, EVERYBODY is going to rush out and buy one.
