Downloadable Content (DLC) it can come in many shapes, sizes, forms and costs. For some it is a way for a game that would otherwise age quickly to maintain that fresh out of the box smell. While others feel that it is a slap in the face. Some remember the old times where additional content was a boon gifted to you by the gaming gods for performing a particular feat of strength. This weeks Chalk Talk we're going to discuss Downloadable content, does this nickel and dime action shake your faith in the companies you would otherwise support? Do you feel that DLC adds an other dimension for your gaming experience? Does DLC hurt the consumer and the community? Comment in this thread here with a link to your blog marked as editorial for your chance to be featured.

Deadline to post a link to your Chalk Talk Submission is FRIDAY October 19 at 10:00am PT

A few additional things to remember about your Chalk Talk Submission:
    - Entries must be a minimum of 500 words.
    - Do not use altered text fonts, colors, and be aware of your formatting.
    - Select at least one image to act as your "Cover Shot".
    -Mark your blog as EDITORIAL

Big thanks to g1rldraco7 for this weeks topic

    I have made an entry.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All the ladies below (mostly drawn by a certain awesome but, for better or worse, not-so-well known fan artist) are actual game characters, though not (necessarily) THAT kind of games if you are thinking about those.

Maybe you want to read this: POSSIBLE BAIT & SWITCH IN TRIBES: ASCEND.

    I have made an entry.

I finally made a blog for chalk talk: HERE

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle." -Sun Tzu

I finally made a blog for chalk talk: HERE

My take on the subject can be found here

    Thank you.

EDIT: If possible, I'd like to suggest my second image as the cover shot. I feel it fits better with the title and overall content of the text. Thanks.

I'd say it was too easy, but the writing was not as easy as I remember it - got something up there, but I could just put charmanders in, right?
