How does follow conversation work?

There is a button under the comment box in any article that says "follow conversation". You click it and it writes following. Now, what does it do? And more importantly, WHERE do I find the conversations that I am following. The notifications on FUSE are for the forum boards, not article comments.

The following button makes it so that if someone replies to what you posted in that article a Pm will be sent to your GS account if i remember. If someone replies to your post in an article and you don't click that button an email will be sent ot your email account.
