Yeah the battery on Nexus 4 is terrible, google is suppose to release an update to address the issue though.
I sure hope so cuz as it stands I wont be getting the nexus 4. I want atleast 20% improvement in its battery life somehow.

I was appalled at the battery life I got today. I took my phone off the charger at around 7:00 and with only moderate usage mostly some sporadic texting, twitter, facebook and some web browsing over 3G, my battery was at 6% by 12:30.

A lot of phones do. It really doesn't take much. I'm lucky if I can squeeze more than a 6:30am-11pm day out of it. And I really don't do a whole lot. Light browsing, an email or two, sporadic texting throughout the day, twitter post here and there and maybe 5-10 minutes of gaming (light games). As of right now I've been 8 hours and 43minutes unplugged and I'm at 33%. And that's with 1 hour and 38 minutes of on screen time. That's with GPS and NFC off and wifi off most of the day.

That's pretty bad, I'm on 40% after around 17 hours on my phone, had moderate use...screen is the biggest killer.

Well then that doesnt tell much. 5.5 hours is enough to kill most phones depending on the usage. You should also look into the battery stats to see exactly what was consuming battery.

After I paid $125 premium for mine. I knew it would happen at some point but I'm not too upset. I just feel bad for the people who paid $550+ for the 16gb.
