Wrestling game with the best story/career mode that's PS2 or later?

I'm looking for a story/career as close to NBA 2k13 as possible. This could include any of the following:
- Player creation
- Experience point or currency system to develop your player
- Decision-making prompts on what to say/do
- Twitter/News Feeds
- Player interviews
- RivalriesI recall one wrestling game (PS1 or PS2 title perhaps) that left an impression on me. You could talk to wrestlers, choose a female wrestling star as a love interest, and the game really feel like you were driving the narrative with multi-decision prompts. I was hoping for another game similar to it.
