So, I was playing Borderlands and it was awesome. At first I wasn´t very happy with the game, but then I couln´t stop playing. Literally I played like 9 hours on a  row, I love it. For some reason my data was damaged and I was lazy to play it again by the time. I was thinking in purchasing one of the Borderlands, I loved the first one but is worthy to buy both of them? Or Borderlands 2 is way better and should be enough?

Bah, sorry to hear that. But, yeah, I lost my character and that was lame. So, you say that is way better to just buy Borderlands 2 without getting the first one?

Treat yourself and buy both. Both are awesome.

I am currently playing BL1 and despite it being a very solid FPS/RPG hybrid I am trying really hard to love it but I can't. The generic quests and world have bored me to death. I haven't gone online though, so maybe things will change when I play co-op. I am pretty sure BL2 is way better though

I played both, and I think the second one is better.

I'd wait until some special edition of BL2 comes out with all DLC.

Buy the first one GOTY edition.
