Of that list, I would recommend Dragon Age: Origins, which is one of my all time faves. Kingdoms of Amalur has good combat, tons of quests, and seems pretty long. Dark Souls is brutal, and very challenging, but many love it. Dragon's Dogma has fun combat, but alot of grinding and stale quests. Ni No Kuni is awesome too, but some would not appreciate the childish characters and theme. I however, love it. Final Fantasy 13 was a huge dissapointment for me. I sold it after playing for a couple of hours.

Fallout 3 and Dragon Age Origins are much better on PC.

From the list (not taking into account being better on PC), Dragon Age Origins is definetly the best pick, then Fallout 3, then Dragons Dogma.

FFXIII is great imo.....well over 120 hours of solid gaming for me....Dark Souls is great as well but perhaps since you have a ps3 you should play Demons Soul first.....

All RPG games are better on PC, maybe without Dark Souls

dark souls is for hardcore rpg fans, id recommend it if you've been playing rpgs since the days where you lost a constitution point when you died lol its one of my favorite games of all time, and you'll hear many people saying that, for good reason

dragon`s dogma seems to be CAPCOM`s first serious forray into rpgs, and its a decent effort, very great visual boss fights, and very very open world ,to the extent its almost too big without a integral fast travel system.

dragon age origins was good, dragon age II was not so good, so linear and they re-used the same landscape SO many times, every cave/dungeon is the same exact level except maybe one passage is open and another is not. it was rushed and so bad and I don't know if i'll continue buying their series

kingdom of amaldur looks very similar to fable, but the company went bankrupt after its release, so dont buy it if you like to buy rpgs for their story and want a series to continue the ongoing story.
