Why can't i pair up in system link?

You have LIVE, right?

Do you have Xbox LIVE?

You may have to go to xbox live make sure you have a computer and an ethernet cable

Both of you need to have the latest update or else you won't be able to play using system link so BOTH of you need to go on Xbox Live, download the update and make sure you have all 3 Map Packs.

Did one of you creat a party after searching for one, use a ethernet cord and make sure you have the same updates like both need the same map pack download as the other.

And you DO NOT need XBOX LIVE!

All you need is an internet connection to your xbox. An active account is not required. I just did this same thing pretty much. :P

Just hook up both consoles to the internet, either individually or at the same time, let both of them update, and then you can play together.

Everyone here is stupid as hell. YOU DON'T NEED XBOX LIVE! If you go to any place that sells electronics related to games and you be able to buy a cord called a Transfer Ethernet Cable there is a port in the back in the system.Plug the cable in there your Xbox's must be next to eachother in order for you too play with eachother go to the multiplayer option on the Main Menu list and select System Link after about 5-10 seconds it should say "No sessions can be found.Press "A" too try again." Press "A" then select Create A Session then have the other player on the seperate Xbox select Find Match while on System Link and he should be able to connect to your game and Wallah you can now play together.
