In Gears of War 3 you continue the fight to finish off the Locust and stop the Lambent from killing everything. The campaign in Gears 3 is great, it makes the game very interesting by closing lots of door and mysteries that other games made you wonder like why the Locust even attacked the humans. After you finish campaign there is still reason to go back for collectibles and Arcade Mode where you kill enemies for points. Gears 3 also features new weapons like the Retro Lancer which has a bayonet that can be used to charge enemies with and the sawed-off shotgun which can kill with one hit but has along reload time, there is also the new heavy weapon the One Shot which can take an enemy out in one shot from a far. The versus is the main place to go to kill people and it is better than ever with the new medal systems you can get, when you get a medal you can attach it to your name which shows during the beginning of any match. Horde is also better then ever, now you can establish a base and set out fortifications like spikes and sentry turrets which can be upgraded to be even better. There is also now boss waves which happen every ten waves which can be from Ravens to Brumaks. Then the final new thing is Beast Mode which you play as the Locust and kill human which is pretty fun being able to play as ticker or as a beserker. Gears of War 3 is a great game to end the series with and is even better that Epic is doing events and DLCs with Gears 3.
