I want to get it from ms.com but how long do they take to ship? I hear people say it takes them like a month.

I have no experience with them but I doubt that such a ridiculous shipping time would be true with something that would be available.

I ordered Borderlands 2 and Black ops 2 from them. I got them both before Friday the week it came out.

Is anyone interested in doing a code trade? I plan on pre ordering from Amazon since I trust them to get it there the next day, but I'd rather have Alex Brand instead of Young Dom. Unless someone knows about MS's ship speed?

It depends. Some people have gotten all the release day 1, other people have to wait a few days.

They say they don't ship until the game is released, but from experience they actually ship it to arrive on release day. Maybe they're trying to cover their butts, I don't know. I just know that with MS I always get the email that it's been sent on Sunday night, and it arrives on Tuesday. The preorder codes on the other hand, they are terribly slow at giving those out.

I would just take the hit and find out if MS gets it to your location on release date before paying for next day. If you get it on Friday with the free shipping option, then you know for future purchases that you'll need to get next day.

I ordered dead space 3 from them, and got release day shipping free.Their warehouse is a few cities over from my location. The 1600 free ms points arrive 9-10 after the game ships, for obvious reasons of people trying to just get the free points.
