I guess there's no hope any Collectors/Legendary Edition?

Haven't seen anything other than some minor DLC offers, kinda sucks when the other Gears got some nice editions...

I've seen it come with a steelcase, but I want more stuff dammit!

Yeah I have been searching for a collectors edition. I have got a collectors edition for all three Gears games and it won't look right on my shelf just having a standard edition (pathetic I know).

There is a collectors edition guidebook though. Why I do not know.

EDIT - just noticed there IS a collectors edition in the UK -

I don't think the DLC is very impressive though. A hammerburst weapon (can it be used is campaign or just multi-player?) and Marcus skin which will be multiplayer only. I only buy the Gears games for the campaign.

No, it is for all the crap you get with the collectors edition which is what I want. I am a sucker for these CE's!

Have you seen the collectors edition for Splinter Cell Blacklist yet? You get a remote controlled plane! A plane I tell you! Only $170 or around £100. What a bargain, eh ;o)

They have straight-up said that there won't be a collector's edition about a month ago, so no.

That's not an official CE, it's just something Gamestop probably worked out with Epic to make an exclusive package deal. It's only coming with a figure and cog tag necklace as extra, everything else is standard. Even where I'm pre-ordering will throw in a steelbook and this one doesn't even have that.

That Baird figure will probably be sold on its own too.

Going to check with my local Gamestop here in Sweden if they will offer the same edition, otherwise I'll have to try and get it from the UK...

To be honest Gingarito I have not given this game any thought. I know I will enjoy it and do not understand the apathy for it. The Gears 3 engine is very good so no more work needs to be done with that side of things so it is understandable that the development time is not as long as previous Gears games. The campaign seems to mix things up a bit where you can change the story or how it is told by completing optional objectives so it should have great re-playability.

I tend to be more excited about a game a week or two before release. Currently playing Dead Space 3 which caters for my gaming fix at the moment. Great game, recommended if you have not got it already.
