Why did it take 5 years to make Gears of War 3 and only 1 to make this?

Because of no-lifers on the Gears ( 3 ) board, impersonation has become a common issue. This is the only account I have/will use.

2011 - 2008 does not equal 5, it's 3, including the 5-month delay.

Regardless, it's not Gears of War 4, it's a spin-off.

And it took two years for Judgment, so they are still roughly in the same release period throughout all of the Gears titles.

It's been what seems like every other year a new Gears has come out. It hasn't taken 5 years to make any of them in any case though. This game looks like it's gonna be good though. But we'll see when it actually comes out... I'm excited to get a Gears that doesn't feel just like the older games with the same stuff slapped in with refinement. It will truly be different.

Because they basically used the exact same Gears 3 engine to make this game. Is it a rehash? Sure. But if you loved Gears 3 like I did, then more of it isn't a bad thing. Especially now since more people from the USA will be playing the game and I won't get stuck in constant matches with people from Mexico.
