.I've been wanting to play Gears of War since I first saw the second game in an issue of Game Informer. I finally got my hands on the first game for PC and it does not disappoint. Gears of War is a hard, action packed game from beginning to end.

Gameplay:
9/10
I do not see why people say the controls are poor for the PC. It handles very well, with a few modifications. The space bar is used for dodging attacks and taking cover, and mouse to shoot, hell it's the exact same as any other PC game I've played and it handles extremely well.

Graphics:
9/10
The graphics look amazing. nuff said.

Pros:
-Cover system, overall gameplay and graphics

Cons:
-The game can be really hard at many points in the game, even on casual difficulty and there's no multiple save files available.

Overall:
9/10
Gears of War was always a game I wanted to play but never got a chance to until now. No regrets. At all.
