yeah God of War 3 looks intense in the E3 demo i liked the part where Kratos ripps Helios head off and then walks away like nothing happened :P

I have play GOW 1&2 on the ps2,,its good but i dont like the fact that the game's stoy is too short. The P3 version of the 2 look pretty much similar...graphics is a little bit better since its on blue-ray. For this i'll just go and rent the game. BTW i do wish they remake others game for the PS3..like FFVII, FFVII AC was a great movie...now if they should just remake or remaster FFVII on the P3 it will be 10x better,

definitely gonna buy this game, i got the 2 in my ps2 but i have donated both the console & all the games i have already. Once again, gonna relive the moments!!

Yeah.. I had them on ps2... but never beat either one... so now here is a good reason to get them again... play them on HD and beat them ;)

This trailer was released on PSN yesterday, and you can really see crystal visuals. The quality of the game exceeds the ps2 resolutions in an instant.

I am going to get this....I have been meaning to buy 1 and 2...but my PS3 doesnt play PS2 games so I never was really motivated...

That's pretty awesome. I don't think I will be picking it up since I already own them in their origional PS2 format. If I have the cash I might splurge. It was a good move for Sony to put these on the PS3.

Yeah, after looking at this video and some of the comments, I think it is good to recognize that this remastering doesn't necessarily mean that this is a true "next gen" version per se as you can notice some of the textures and such appear to still be the old version. Obviously to completely redo these games would take a LOT longer than only 15 weeks.

I've been meaning to get GOW 1 & 2 for some time. Gamestop has each for $20. I have the original 60g with backwards compadibility, but its at some repair center (through Target cuz the Sony one had expired) and i don't know if they can fix it, though they'll still give me a gift card for another. Point is, my bc may be gone and that SUCKS cuz I have quite a few PS2 classics. AND I may have to pay $60 to play GOW now. What a raw deal.......

you guys are acting silly, this is not for the fans that have every single part already! It's for people who always wanted to play GoW, but don't own a PS2 or a PSP...

I'm no big fan of the GOW series, but it would be very interesting for me to play them again with HD graphics.

I am also one of those people who had never gotten into GOW even owning a PS2 but I amg lad that they arere-releasing it on PS3 because I have always wanted to play it but never got around to it. I love Greek Mythology so from what I have heard I know I will love this.

glad i didn't buy the ps2 version will definitely buy this collection when its on sale but also really hope there is same remastered collection for devil may cry series on ps2

It looks the same as the original versions, I guess the only reason I would buy this is to play the GOW3 demo!

At Last Kratos Will Kill The Microsoft and The 360

This video just reminded me how sick nasty God Of War is. I had this game on pre-order through GameStop since I heard about it from conference for GameStop. Definitely looks a lot smoother than the originals. You can also tell the difference in graphics. Just a little bit, but still good enough for me. Can't be picky people because it's God Of War. What else needs to be said. Plus just in case no one knew this yet or not. But if you get the game through GameStop by reserving it you will get a demo voucher for God Of War 3 that covers the first 20 minutes of the game that you get to play.

I feel like an idiot,just this year i tracked the original PS2 GOW games only for sony to re realease them on blue ray and remastered. Seriously besides the visuals will the God of War collection be worth the purchased?

I can tell it runs A LOT SMOOTHER. But for anyone who was hoping for a complete HD overhaul is out of luck

I might get this and play through as a warm-up for GoW3. These are the best games I've played on PS2 and definitely a must have for all PS3 owners, especially if you haven't played them on PS2.

my wallet is running dry by the end of 2009....so many amazing games coming out, def gonna pick this one up for the collection and get some trophies too :)
