God of War 3 is in many ways the most epic and (literally) gut-wrenching games out in stores right now.While the basic gameplay of the franchise remains intact,it is still a major upgrade over it's predecessors in the looks department.Sony Santa Monica have really outdone themselves this time around.

The story picks up at the exact point where it was left off in God of War 2.But unlike the previous games,the story is the weak point in this one.Not that it's bad,it's just that it isn't properly fleshed out or well presented like the others.But it is still a great end to the trilogy(but apparently not the end....).

If you have PS3,you owe it to yourself to buy this game because it's most probably the reason you got yourself a PS3.All in all, it's a great visual treat,a solid action game and a wonderful but gory send-off to Kratos (and the rest of Greek mythology).
