I remember it was Christmas of 1997 and i got a Nintendo 64 along with GoldenEye 007. The entire vacation I was hooked and I couldn't stop playing. Years later I still find myself picking the game up every now and then and just having a blast.

GoldenEye 007 follows the movie with fun challenging and highly detailed levels. Sure its N64 graphics, but the levels are filled with detailed terrain straight from the movie. The variety of weapons available are great, especially in multiplayer, I even enjoy using the laser watch. sure it works great to open the trap door on the floor of the train but its also fun to zap someone in the neck with. The cheats you get to unlock are great as well. Golden pp7 is fun and so is using paintball mode and DK mode.

By far the best feature of Golden Eye is the multiplayer. The mutliplayer levels have wonderful detail and hiding spots. If you are a person that likes to hide and wait for your victim to come into your territory then go for the kill well this is the perfect game for you. Sure it might not have online capabilities but get three friends to come over and the four of you will be killing each other for hours.

I rated this game a 10 because out of all the first person shooters that have come out since 1997 this is by far the most addicting and well loads of fun. It is fantastic to be around other gamers these days and hear them talk about how great this game is. Its been 13 years since its release and its still on the top 10 list for numerous gamers.

Lastly, I just want to say if you haven't played this yet find a way to do so because you will not regret it.
