The Good:
The game is a great game in 1997, and it's still is today. The game's sound and music is decent sounding, the gameplay, although the AI is kind of slow and primitive, but still is decent. Also the game has wide-screen support! But playing it on an HDTV wouldn't look as great as it would on a LDTV and a SDTV due to being on 640x480 resolution probably.
The Bad:
The game is excellent, but still has it's drawbacks. For an example, if you turn off the music, the sound would just feel very shallow like as if you could just mute the TV. The cheat system is pretty cool but some cheats are broken. The AI can be unfair at times, and the game can lag pretty bad.
The Bottom Line:
GoldenEye 007 is a movie-based game that everybody should like, and just like every other game, it has it's own drawbacks. Buy/rent the game and see for yourself.
