Levelling an alt is fun. Being in a clan is fun. Why not combine the two?

People don't understand alts, I don't understand playing on a main account for 50+ days which is where some people are at now. Like we said when we introduced ourselves, we didn't start the Gods to troll - we started it to level alts as a group. We would like to war but people seem reluctant and we respect that. However I still like the idea of an alt clan tourney Tantrum, Bonsai and Frodo (in Aragorns voice from ROTK) "What say you?!"

We understand them just fine. Mostly people just think they're dumb.

If you want to level an alt, go for it. You want to join a clan? Go for it. It's the secrecy thing that's silly. People are naturally not going to trust other people who won't be honest. That's just human nature. Add to the fact that hacking is insanely easy and instructions are widely publicized, and you basically have a recipe for no one wanting to war. Thus, alt clans put together for the purpose of warring other clans are going to find that they have a pretty empty schedule. With all the drama that comes from regular wars, why should a clan waste their time warring a secret clan?

Jdawg's analogy was spot on: alt clans are essentially Saw. First one was sweet. Next couple were kinda hokey, but you enjoyed them because you had great memories of the first one. By the time they start releasing number 7, you've decided that you'd rather waste your money on a bottle of cheap scotch and a bjer from the old lady down the street who ain't nothin' to look at, but she knows what the hell she's doin'.

And we thank you. Lol. That happened cuz XF are cool folks that play for fun and do not waste time acting stuck up.

So because clans don't want to waste their time with you, they're acting stuck up? Perhaps its TF2 that has the arrogant attitude, no?

This all goes back to the original premise: alt clans are worn out. You guys can all do what you like to have fun, but don't criticize others for doing the same thing, albeit in their own manner. I don't play as much, so when I do I'm not about to waste my time trying to get wars set up. If it's quick and easy, fine. But I'm not going to go out of my way to make sure it happens.

In general, I think people have a much shorter attention span when it comes to GE. I know I do. If I want some competition, it's a lot easier for me to just go troll some games rather than go through the excrutiating process of setting up a clan war. This isn't about taking GE too seriously. It's the opposite. I'm not going to take GE seriously enough to devote more than 30 seconds to getting a game started.

Slowbro, you have been talking for weeks on about "I am back!" "Let's war!" "Who wants to war!" "Wars are good for the community!" and now you claim it is too "excrutiating" and you cannot be bothered? Please dude. Here you have TF2 - the PERFECT clan for warring. We are more available - more punctual - more organized and more CLEANER (did that on purpose ) than any other clan in GE. Ready to war any one on any day. BUT I guess we cannot be trusted cuz were alts and we "hack" - despite having been around for months and noone having any proof of it - cuz people cannot take going neg once and a while. Worse case scenario... turns out we do hack. There is 45 mins gone from your life - how will you ever recover? Faqs would be a much better place if all clans had our attributes and operated like us. At this juncture we do not even care that some clans will not war us... We keep our selves entertained. We just want you to admit that its cuz you are grumpy or are afraid of getting spanked.

Yup, I said that. And then I quickly became bored with it all, just as I had before. Wars aren't easy to set up. If they were, we'd do it all the time. But I can't force people to play, and it's a pain trying to get a full team to commit. In lieu of wasting my time going through the trouble, I'm having way more fun playing other games. Don't need to worry about anyone else if I'm the only player.

FAQs would be a much better place if everyone would check their egos at the door. If people weren't starving for recognition, there wouldn't be alts. If people weren't eager to prove they're the "best", there wouldn't be so much pressure to win clan wars (or hack for that matter). If everyone truly played this game for fun, we could have good competition without all the drama. But, that's not how it is. Thus, we're stuck with all the crap that's here.

IMO wars are very easy to set up... Even region off. People are just unreliable and STILL after all this time making noob mistakes. TF2 is partied and waiting 20 mins before kick off EVERY time. That is all I meant. TC wars should take 30-40 mins tops! Ego IS absolutely the cause of all of our problems - you are right. BUT competition (as in any medium) is what makes participation more fun! Stack us a Aero\Bulba\Nido\Eevee opponent... A loss to them would be 100x more satisfying than stomping a nobody clan 5-0. Lol.

If you want to take on a team of "elites", just come out and ask for a match. Why not just say that you want to greatest of all wars and that you want to face Aero/Joker/Jaymas/someone from THE clan. Do it on your main. Or are you hoping for some big reveal when you win? Your shining moment when you can say "I beat the best!". Again, it's all about ego and until people realize that no one GAF, we're always going to have people like TF2 who want to be recognized as the greatest GE players on gamefaqs.

People aren't unreliable. They just have different priorities. Some of us have families, jobs, etc. We can't commit to things simply because we aren't going to ignore the important things in life in order to play a video game. I for one won't apologize for that either. If TF2 wants to act like clans are scared to face them, knock yourselves out. If you get some kind of pride from that, who am I to tarnish it?
