How do I drift properly?

Use your handbrake and steer in the way you want to drift, as soon as the tail kicks out, steer the opposite way and you should drift
TIP: use FR cars
Can you help me with my gran turismo question please -
Yes, drifting is hard, very hard in this game. I menaged myself how to drift and gain some points. For this I took old Camaro SS ('69 perhaps, I don't remember right now). You should turn off every single assist or help and change your Driving Physics in Pro. When U R enetring the corner car should drift automaticly (U'll see that when UR drift point counter shows up). Then just simply steer to make a nice slide. I did not use handbrake 'cause it is too "wild" for me. U can also add a manual gearbox, but it is hard to menage all this stuff in-game. I didn't try drift in cars such as RX-7 or Supra so I can't help U in this case. But if U like to drive old muscle cars such as Camaro SS or Plymouth Cuda my advises should help. :)

If you use normal or sport tires and change driving physics to professional you should be able to drift easier and you can change the cars settings a bit if you favourite it, I usually use a RX-7 as i find it easier to control when i'm drifting

It's hard to drift in a real-life simulation game like this. I used to love drifting but now I forgot every technique, but I'm back. You need to choose the right tires for drifting except Racing Tires and you can change the settings of your car if you favorite it, you need to slow down so you can get the perfect timing to drift in a corner or a curve. Use the handbrake as your advantage to start drifting, release the handbrake and start pressing the gas while your car is in sideways but be careful not to fully throttle or your car will spin out of the track.

It's easy to drift.
Just change:
- Driving physics to professional
- TCS to 0
- use FR car
- rear tires : normal 1
- front tires : normal 3 / 2
That's the steps to drift easily , you can control while drifting :)
