The most relistic racing game i ever played be sides the newer GRAND TORISMO game!!!

This game is amazing.... at the begaining you start off with some cash to buy a car. Than you got to get your first licence, than you can do races but the races you go in you wont win that much money so if you want you can go try to get a better licence so you can do better races. you can go for acouple of more licence if you want. There is so many car companies you can buy cars off of. there is alot of cars you can buy. also you can upgrade your car to make it faster and look cooler and stuff. There is alot of tracks you can race on and its very fun to play 2 player and trade cars by using your memory card. wel this game was a start with a great series.

Writing this review ten years later, racing games haven't brought a lot more to the genre than what GT did back in 1997.

Despite the fact that I'm not a fan of racing games, I did find this game to be an impressive addition to my collection

Doing a flamboyant and stylish lap around the Toscana circuit, using a Peugeot 206 Rally Car. As always all driving aids are turned off except for ABS which is set to 1. Using a Logitech Force GT steering wheel which is on simulation settings.Posted May 1, 2011
