Gran Turismo is a racing simulator, wich was delayed constantly since 2004. Its the first portable installment of the series. Gran Turismo features over 800 cars (from 87 car makes) and 35 tracks. Everything is unlocked from the beginning, except your car collection. They included a cool feature, to make it more easy to unlock cars: You can Share or Trade your cars (Most of the cars can only be shared) with fellow Gran Turismo players. There are also a few modes: Quick Play, Driving Challenge and Ad-Hoc. Driving Challenges are similar to the Liscence Tests in previous Gran Turismo games. In Single Player there are also three modes to choose from: Race, Time Trial and Drift Trial. Every track has 5 levels: D, C, B, A and S (it starts on level D and you must unlock every other level). The higher the level, the higher the Price Money (Example: Nürburgring: Level D: 25000 Credits, Level S: 150000 Credits). This Gran Turismo features no real Career Mode.

All in all Gran Turismo is an excellent racing game for PSP. Especially Car Collectors wont regret buying this. But if you just like racing games because of the Career Mode, you shoudnt buy this.

Doing a flamboyant and stylish lap around the Toscana circuit, using a Peugeot 206 Rally Car. As always all driving aids are turned off except for ABS which is set to 1. Using a Logitech Force GT steering wheel which is on simulation settings.Posted May 1, 2011

This is MY opinion of which games are great this is not a fact-sheet :-) Im also well aware that some of the games on my list have seen sequels released but remember sometimes the first game was the most unique.Posted Oct 10, 2010
