I am a huge racing fan, but I found Gran Turismo extremely overrated. Yes, I know PS fans love it, but I for one never caught on to the game as much.

I never owned a Playstation, but my cousin did, so I decided to check it out. You can customize cars anyway you want, and over 140 cars are avalible (!!!) There's also a solid split screen mode and time trial mode.

Unfortunately, the games controls was a huge turn off for me. Your car steers all over the place and it's hard to have control of it. I finished near dead last every time because I had a huge problem with the controls! I also don't like how the game's tracks all look generic and unimaginative, but the framerate is smooth. Still, the cars show their age, although they do look kinda cool. That said, this game is fun. Once you master the controls, you'll be in for a ride.

The game's audio is amazing, featuring gresat voices and an awesome soundtrack. I also found that you can save your high scores via ghosts, and you can take your memory card over to a friends house to kick his butt, that is if the controls don't get in the way.

Gran Turismo isn't as fun (for me) as others say, but it's still fun. It's controls are frustrating, but if you can deal with them, you'll love this game.
