- The Bottom Line:
- "Been there, done that"
To start with, Gran Turismo is the best driving series ever existed in the world of gaming. So it was an obvious need to publish this succesful franchise for Playstation Portable. But the execution didn't meet the public's expectetions.
First of all, the graphics are stunning and probably the best ever on PSP. They managed to transfer the graphics and the gameplay from the previous playstation titles. However, they didn't manage to convert the excitement and the passion from the console series in a portable platform. The absence of GT Mode is a major drawback for those who have enjoyed this mode on previous titles. The license mode will keep you interested only for a couple of hours (maxximum). A good factor that has to be mentioned is that by having arcade races you can win money that you can spent on buying cars. Therefore gamers who are willing to buy Gran Turismo 5 for PS3 will have the chance to transfer their car collection from PSP to PS3 and therefore enjoy a head start for Gran Turismo 5 over their electronic rivals. In conclusion, this factor in addition with the breathtaking graphics and the good gameplay will keep the players attached to the game even though GT mode is surprisingly absent.

Fantastic game. One that should be on every racer's list. Superb gameplay. Despite no career, it will not disapoint you.

Doing a flamboyant and stylish lap around the Toscana circuit, using a Peugeot 206 Rally Car. As always all driving aids are turned off except for ABS which is set to 1. Using a Logitech Force GT steering wheel which is on simulation settings.Posted May 1, 2011

This is MY opinion of which games are great this is not a fact-sheet :-) Im also well aware that some of the games on my list have seen sequels released but remember sometimes the first game was the most unique.Posted Oct 10, 2010
