Gran Turismo for PSP is still a lil disappointing game for me but yet it is still playable with promised graphics, load times and gameplay. Before I talk about the bad let's talk about the good. The game has really smooth framerate and very nice texture and also even has the tracks from the previous GT games such as Midfield Raceway and others. You can also customise how many laps you want to race which is up to 99 laps, the more laps you race the more credits you earn where you can buy some nice new cars. That's only the good I got to talk about and now for the bad and I have lot's to say.
1. There is no career mode and 4 car manufacturers are randomly choosen after you clear the race. Say I wanted to buy a Ferrari and all what the game shows is VW, Ford, Mitsubishi and Subaru and you had to keep racing again and again to get the car manufacturer you want to buy your car from.
2. This game does have allow you to customise your own BGM but one small problem. It has to be unlocked by clearing Block B in the driving challenge which is a letdown really.
3. The announcer for ''Ready!'', ''Start!'' and ''Finish!!'' is not necessary and ruins the GT experience and also during gameplay, buttons shows up depends what it does by pressing what button which is also not necessary, it least have the option to turn it off.
4. Got a new PSP and copied your saved data from your old one to your new one. Don't bother, the game is copy protected and you'll have to start from scratch.
And that is all, still playable but not as good as it's home console ports.

The best car game available on the PSP. Eats its competitors for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Doing a flamboyant and stylish lap around the Toscana circuit, using a Peugeot 206 Rally Car. As always all driving aids are turned off except for ABS which is set to 1. Using a Logitech Force GT steering wheel which is on simulation settings.Posted May 1, 2011

This is MY opinion of which games are great this is not a fact-sheet :-) Im also well aware that some of the games on my list have seen sequels released but remember sometimes the first game was the most unique.Posted Oct 10, 2010
