This is one of the most important games in video game history. now by today's standards this is not a 9.5, but when this game came out it was revolutionary in terms of game play and go where you want and do what you want, and it truly was a 9.5 at its time. this was the first major sand box game of its time that has gone on to spawn numerous copy cats. this games main protagonist is silent which takes away from the story a little bit, the missions are very good and varied, while some are harder than others and some are to hard. the game play for its time was very well, the main gripe is the shooting system, which puts you over the back shoulder so you cant see what you are shooting, and there are no cover mechanics or ducking. the good about this game is the city isnt large but its varied in terms of the islands and in general is large for its time. the game play is top notch and so is the driving. the gangs on all of the islands really take the game to the next level and deliver a great experience. it is the first game to do a lot of things i highly recommend a buy even till this day.
