Grand Theft Auto IV Question

100% Completion but why no infinite ammo?

I have completed the game and finished everything. I have 100% completion. It even says 100% on my stats but when i shoot my guns i still run out of ammo. I had to wait until I beat the last mission to do all the activities with my friends to get the 100%. Could this be why?

You don't get infinite ammo, you just get an infinite CLIP. That means you can carry WAY more ammo around.
