The Bottom Line:
"Best in series"
Grand Theft Auto IV is by far my favorite Grand Theft Auto to date. The world is so open for you to do whatever you want, the graphics are amazing, there are countless missions and side-missions for you to do, and so much more. First off, lets start off with the graphics. There is so much detail in everything you see around you, and the animations for yourself and others is very well done. Climbing over walls, seeing a car being pulled over by a cop because they got in a crash, punching some random guy on the street or shooting up a gang to save a friend or steel a car all looks as realistic as can be. Although, you will experience frame rate drops when viewing mass amounts of gunfire or explosions, but other than that, the game runs as smooth as butter. Next lets talk about Liberty City. Liberty City is a re-make of New York City, and I must say that this has to be my favorite location for a Grand Theft Auto game so far. Flying over the city at night is one of my favorite things to do on my free time. Each and every building looks amazingly realistic and the lighting is one of my favorite types of lighting in any video game. Other than the city, there are countless things you can do in the city. You can meet up with friends to go out drinking, you can go have some lunch, you can play bowling, pool and so much more. Next lets talk about missions. There are a LOT of missions to do, and since its a sandbox game, you can choose which missions you do and don't want to do. In some missions you will have to fly a helicopter to blow up an enemy, drive a boat to follow a friend and kill any other boats who follow him, use a sniper rifle to take out enemies on top of cranes and so much more breath-taking missions that you'll be playing for hours. There is so much more in this game that I can't even write it all out. Try it for yourself. I definitely recommend it to all gamers. I give this game a perfect 10.

  1. Aside from improved graphics, Grand Theft Auto IV is a regression in the series. (no planes, crappy car handling, etc.)
