How would you feel if they brought back the ability to swim underwater?

It would be nice having underwater things to collect again. Also, in the last game if you had a wanted level while you were in the water, you were pretty much a sitting duck. So it would be nice to have a method of attempting to save yourself in a situation like that.

Id love it. Also a spawn on land button like Saints Row wouldnt be to bad. Swimming in IV sucked.

Spawn to land could be a nice feature but it would take away one of my favorite freeroam troll activities.
I usually play freeroam and try to hang with people causing mayham but sometimes it was fun to grab a heli have someone get in fly out to the edge of the map and drift(The heli can drift past the explode zone eventually the passenger gets so bored they jump out to swim to shore I fly back to shore leaving them stranded hehehe..... (then I grab a boat and go get em cause it was mean.

I would hope they bring back swimming underwater along with dual wielding.
Very disappointed 4 had none of these. I was also confused as to why they took out brass knuckles.

I never understood why they took out the brass knuckles in GTA IV, They should bring back stealth kills with the combat knife like in San Andreas or add the next snap feature which was added in Vice city stories.

It could be like an option to turn on and off in free roam lobies the the aiming was.

GTA IV had a lot of potential of underwater gameplay, but then rockstar pulled the plug and now we don't know how many dead bodies or unknown elements are in the water around Liberty city.

I don't remember which GTA it was, but I enjoyed hiding in trees and pouncing on people as they walked the sidewalk.
To answer the question, yes, I would love it if underwater swimming was brought back. Hopefully you have the option to buy scuba gear this time around. I would love to explore the ocean floor. Also, I hope they have more ocean life or at least have sharks swimming around. Nothing to scare the pants off of you than seeing a fin in the water.

Yes, scuba gear would be awesome. They could let you find anyone you dumped into the ocean or any lake. It would be better if you found items on the bodies.

I'd prefer the ability to go into more buildings than underwater. In my experience underwater adds alot more exploration but not that much to find or see.

unless they actually added things to do underwater (and gave you a scuba tank), the under water part of SA was a gigantic waste of memory. I'd rather have a spawn to shore button.

I think they took diving under the water out of IV because anyone in New york can tell you, our water isn't something you want to be in, let alone under the surface of.

eh, I still don't see what's so great about it. I mean, it'd be a nice thing... but going underwater just for the sake of it doesn't appeal to me.
