Let's say that Rockstar only revealed one more detail about GTA V before the end of the year, and you could choose between knowing the release date or seeing a picture of the map.

Which one would you pick?

Release date, I'll have plenty of time to examine the map once I have the game. I just want to know when that time will be.

I think GTA should take another hole year working on this game to ensure its perfection when i come back from Dominica to take my USMLE part 1.

Release Date.

I REALLY want to know how many square miles the map will be. However, this is the first game I'd consider taking vacation time for, and I'd need to plan it in advance. Some people might think its sad, stupid, or weird. But I'm never this excited for a game, with the exception of Elder Scrolls, and the next Fallout.

I'd rather have a release date because I need to know when to put in for my vacation. I take two weeks off per year, one in spring and one in fall. My fall vacation happened to be during AC3 (didn't plan it, just worked out that way) and I'm going to make sure my spring vacations happens when GTAV comes out.

They already confirmed the map size - SA + RDR + GTA IV + more (the biggest map they've ever created)

What more do you need than that?

This. They gave us an idea of just how big the map will be. But apparently that's not enough for some people, and people would rather have the entire map spoiled for them before they play it.

The only obvious answer is release date, because it's a fact that we WILL know the release date at some point, while they WON'T show us the entire map before we play the game.

Actually, that's not true. They said that estimation includes interiors, which means the actual map size is smaller than that.

Why do they count interiors when they are within the map's borders? It's like saying "my d*** is 8 inches but if I include my testicles I'm bigger than John Holmes".
