    One analyst said October of 2012 and then another one said March of 2013. It sounds to me like they don't know what they're talking about. Haha. What do you guys think?

    Judging by rockstars revenue update i think itll be this year and october seams like the month most likely

    It'll be released on 24/5 as noted on the kerb in the trailer at 56 secs. However unlike what everyone seemed to think, it won't be in 2012 it'll be in.......... 2013! So mark the date 24/5/13.

    2013...Don't you think that is a bit longer than we thought?
    there still better games to play out there..why are we waiting for the GTA V?

    What will be offered in the GTA V that other games are not offering which are out now.... ???

    It wont be this year, Rockstar usually uses the 6 months to release to let out the fake commercials and radio stations and all that, have not seen a peep on that front. They could be trying for March 2013 but will miss then it will slip to Dec 2013. I dont give this whole fincial report much weight, I mean software dev compaines lie for a living, at the core, thats what they do, lie. And they do it well becasue the same people bite ever....single....time....

    2013 if we are lucky. If it were coming in Oct of 2012 we would know that for sure now and RS would be at E3.

    Real Date: Sept 17 2013 (margin of error of +35 days or +8.73%)

    Considering Rockstars track record, odds are the game will still slip to October, a slip of 4 weeks almost 9 months out is considered a rounding error in this business.

    People pay attention to the weirdest "clues". If you're going to start reaching for hints in the trailer, why not pick the only actual month that is shown, which is "OCT" on one of the car's license plate. 245 could easily just be random numbers, and why would they give a specific date over a year before the release? No developer has ever been that specific that early, and Rockstar has never released a GTA game more than 13 months after the first trailer. So in November of 2011 they knew the release date will be May 24th of 2013? That's pretty ridiculous.

    A question you should be asking is why would Rockstar choose October as the month on the license plate? Of all the months they could've chosen, they decided to go with the month they have always released or planned to release GTA in. The same month that keeps popping up on their employee's resumes?

    It's most likely coming out this October. If it doesn't, it's because of a delay.

    Nope, we've never had to wait that long for GTA after they show us the first footage. It's coming out before the end of the year for sure.
