Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories User Review
- Difficulty:
- Just Right

- 40 to 100 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Immersive"
I think one reason why Grand Theft Auto games are so much fun is because you don't have to do mission after mission to get to the good stuff. It's sort of right there, and you just have to make it happen. You can steal a sports car,hit a jump, and watch it fly into the ocean, where it will sink.Or,you can get the cops interested in you,and shoot their helicopters down with a bazooka. There are rewards for completing missions, however, and those include new cars, new areas of the city, and of course, more cash.
One thing I love about Grand Theft Auto,is that there is no wrong way to play the game. You literally do whatever you want. There are also side missions, and one is called Rampage. In Rampage, you are given a weapon with unlimited ammo, and you have a time limit to kill as many gang members as you can.Your wanted level can only reach one start during this mini game, which is nice. There are also red balloons scattered throughout the city.If you find one,you just shoot it,and then you try to find the other 50.
Something I might complain about is that the story isn't very compelling, and I am not very interested in it at all.The only thing that keeps me coming back is the promise of moolah.
In this Grand Theft Auto, you can enter stores all over the city. You can wreak havoc inside the store, and unless the store is a gun shop, the clerk won't do anything. In fact, you can hop behind the counter, and shoot the clerk five times, and he still won't do anything to stop you.The problem is,the cash registers never hold cash, and you have to be lucky enough to get some cash the clerk might drop.If you go to a gun store, you can kill the clerk, but it's best to do it from far away with a sniper, because if you target him with anything else,he pulls out a shotgun and blows you away. The upside is,if you do kill him,you get a shotgun.
Cheats, are probably my favorite part of Grand Theft Auto, because most are very useful, and others, are just plain odd. They all please me,though,so they are worth checking out.All in all,Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories is worth checking out.

A bit more random than anything. A fire is spreading throughout the city and there is no fire department to help. The mayor's decision to solve the quickly spreading fire turns out to be a deadly one. look out for spelling errorsPosted May 20, 2009
